We are looking for some amazing people to join our Image One Home & Cottage team! Do you have an inner design diva and like to help people decorate their rooms? Do you have a knack for the “DIY”? Do you have a fascination with meeting people or taking a boat ride to your next consultation? If you say “yes!” then we would love to talk to you.

Our company has been in the business of home furnishings and custom building for 45 years! As locals ourselves, being a part of our community is important to us and we like to show it through student sponsorships, kids events, donations made to the Kenora Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and the Salvation Army Miracle Marathon to name a few. We have been an active member of the Chamber of Commerce since the ‘80’s and have volunteered for countless events.

Part Time seasonal /year round position

job description

  • Showroom sales position - greeting clients, answering the phone, handling online sale orders, helping clients with sales.

  • Perform opening & closing procedures.

  • Passing on information from clients.

  • Assist with digital accounts - social media & newsletters

  • Unpacking and displaying product - stock input, labeling and creating decorative displays

  • General cleaning & sanitizing the showroom.

  • Supply runs

  • Can work in groups or independently.

requirements

  • Resume with at least 3 references

  • Previous sales experience is an asset.

  • Computer skills - needed for POS register, & newsletter

  • Valid G drivers license

  • Passion for home décor and design

  • Social media knowledge

  • Quick learner of product knowledge and procedures

hours

  • 2-3 days a week 8:30-5:00

  • flexible schedule

  • $16-$20/hour pending experience
