Daiku Chair Workshop Feelers
Want to build an armchair and take it home?
We are looking at bringing back this popular workshop sometime in January or February 2026.
Cost : $650 + HST
What can you expect?
precut wood frame that you assemble
precut foam and padding that you apply
presewn fabric that you upholster
Hands on instruction and assistance
Completed within the days session
What does the schedule look like?
9:00 am introduction & safety information
9:15 - 12:00 assemble & pad the frames
12:00 - 12:45 break for lunch
12:45 - 4:30 upholster and final assembly
*This is a general outline and anyone can take a break at anytime.
Build the chair all by yourself or bring a building buddy.
Choose one of the standard fabrics or upgrade to something different.
No upholstery experience required!
